VITAL SIGNS 2026

October 18-20th, 2026 β€’ Case Western Reserve University β€’ Cleveland, Ohio

A three-day conference for healthcare providers, researchers, and health leaders ready to integrate Food as Medicine into clinical care.

Expand What's Possible in Your Practice

You already know how to manage chronic disease.
Vital Signs equips you to prevent and reverse it.

Treat Root Causes

Address the lifestyle and metabolic drivers behind the conditions you see every day.

Apply Evidence With Confidence

Learn clinically grounded, peer-reviewed approaches you can integrate immediately into patient care.

Change the Trajectory of Care

Support meaningful patient improvement β€” not just stabilization.

The practical tools we use every day to bring lifestyle medicine into the exam room.

Five practicing clinicians. One hour. The specific language, frameworks, and patient conversations that actually work β€” shared directly from their daily practice.

Most providers believe in lifestyle medicine. The challenge is not conviction β€” it's implementation. Join us and leave with tools you can use the next morning.

Free to watch. No credit card required. On-demand, any time.

After this session you will have:

Five physicians sharing exactly what works β€” from their own practices, with their own patients, every single day.

  • The exact language that opens the lifestyle medicine conversation without losing the patient
  • A practical framework for introducing food as medicine inside a standard visit β€” regardless of your specialty
  • Specific tools our clinicians use daily to help patients connect their choices to outcomes
  • An understanding of why patients resist behavior change β€” and the clinical approach that works
  • Special appearance by Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., MD

SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

A Once-in-a-Career Opportunity

Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., MD is joining us in Cleveland for a personal Q&A and meet and greet.

Few physicians have shaped the course of cardiovascular medicine the way Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn has. Conducting his landmark research at the Cleveland Clinic beginning in 1985, Dr. Esselstyn demonstrated what the medical establishment considered impossible β€” that whole-food, plant-based nutrition could halt and reverse coronary artery disease, even in patients told they had less than a year to live.

His book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease has guided hundreds of thousands of patients and clinicians. The Esselstyn Heart Disease Program continues to this day at the Cleveland Clinic β€” the very city where Vital Signs takes place.

Dr. Esselstyn will join attendees for a dedicated Q&A session and personal meet and greet. This is a rare and intimate opportunity to speak directly with the physician whose research changed what medicine believes is possible.
