Plant Strong Retreats and Events are operated by Engine 2 Immersions LLC ("Plant Strong," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information associated with our retreats, conferences, educational programs, ticket sales, event waitlists, and related communications.
Information We Collect
- Your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and other contact information.
- Registration and ticket information, including the event you are interested in or attending, ticket type, order details, payment status, and attendance status.
- Waitlist information, including your name, email address, date of sign-up, preferred language, and whether you subsequently purchased a ticket.
- Information you voluntarily provide through questionnaires, forms, surveys, emails, or communications with our team.
- Event preferences and logistical information, such as lodging selections, dietary needs, accessibility requests, emergency-contact information, and transportation details.
- Health-related information that you voluntarily provide when it is reasonably necessary to support your safe participation in a retreat or event.

- Technical information collected by our websites and service providers, such as IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, and website activity.
- Payment information is processed by Universe or our other authorized payment processors. We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

- Process registrations, ticket purchases, cancellations, refunds, and transfers.
- Administer event waitlists and notify interested individuals when space becomes available.
- Communicate important information about an event, including schedules, lodging, transportation, preparation, safety, or program changes.

- Safely administer our retreats, conferences, and educational programs.
- Maintain registration, attendance, financial, and operational records.

Health-related, accessibility, dietary, and emergency-contact information will not be used for advertising or general marketing.
Waitlist Information
When an event is sold out, Universe may allow you to join a waitlist. If you consent to share your information with us, we may receive your name, email address, date of sign-up, preferred language, waitlist status, and information indicating whether you later purchased a ticket.
We use this information to manage demand, communicate ticket availability, administer registration, plan future events, and contact you about the event for which you expressed interest.
Joining a waitlist does not guarantee that a ticket or space will become available. You may unsubscribe from waitlist communications using the link provided in the relevant email.
Marketing Communications
If you choose to receive marketing communications, we may send information about upcoming Plant Strong retreats, conferences, educational programs, products, or related opportunities.
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent us from sending transactional or operational communications relating to an event registration, purchase, or inquiry.
Sensitive Information
Some Plant Strong retreats may ask participants to voluntarily provide dietary, accessibility, emergency-contact, or health-related information. We use this information only as reasonably necessary to plan for and support participant safety, accessibility, meals, accommodations, or emergency response.
Access to this information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to perform their responsibilities. Please do not submit sensitive information through Universe's general waitlist form unless specifically requested.
How We Share Information
We may share personal information with:
- Universe and other ticketing, registration, payment, email, survey, website, and technology providers.
- Event venues, lodging providers, transportation providers, food-service providers, instructors, contractors, and other vendors involved in delivering an event.
- Authorized Plant Strong staff, event personnel, medical or safety personnel, and professional advisers.
- Government agencies, law enforcement, courts, insurers, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect health, safety, legal rights, or property.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of some or all of our operations.
We require service providers to use personal information only for authorized purposes and to appropriately protect it.
We do not sell or rent attendee or waitlist personal information.
Universe processes information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review those policies when using the Universe platform.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer our events, provide requested services, maintain appropriate business and financial records, meet legal or insurance requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary according to the type and sensitivity of the information and the reason it was collected. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may securely delete or de-identify it.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
